Land Acknowledgement

The Grande Prairie Volleyball Club acknowledges that we live, play, and compete on the traditional territory of Treaty 8 First Nations. We recognize and deeply respect the histories, languages, and cultures of the Indigenous Peoples of this land, including the Dane-zaa (Beaver), Cree, Iroquois, and Métis Nations, who have cared for and lived on these lands for generations.

We are grateful for the opportunity to gather, grow, and play on this land, and we commit to learning from and working in partnership with Indigenous communities as we move forward in the spirit of reconciliation.
