Hawks was founded with the purpose to create more opportunities for younger athletes in the Peace Region. We want to build the future through our youth by supporting their overall growth into being talented, confident, team oriented, athletes.
As the sport continues to grow across Alberta and Canada, access to training and competition can remain limited especially in the northern regions. Our club was created with the mindset to create more opportunities for players in these areas. We bring quality coaching, competitive play and a supportive team environment closer to home.
Our Mission
Growing Voleyball In The Peace Region
The G.P. Hawks Volleyball Club currently provides athlete development and character-building programs for young volleyball players across Alberta. Founded in 2025, our club was created to expand high-quality training and competition opportunities for youth, ensuring year-round growth and engagement in the sport.
In response to the growing interest in girls’ volleyball in the Peace Region, we launched G.P. Hawks to offer more pathways for player development. Our program delivers technical instruction, diverse positional training, local tournaments, and a six-month club experience that culminates in three provincial and national events.
Our club stands out through our passion for developing not only athletic skill but also character and resilience in our young athletes. All sessions are led by NCCP-certified coaches, and our staff regularly participates in ongoing professional development provided by Hawk’s organization. In partnership with Volleyball Canada, G.P. Hawks emphasizes solid fundamentals, tactical awareness, and character-building experiences. Our approach blends rigorous training with a compassionate, “success for all” philosophy to create a memorable and positive journey for every participant.
